How do I create my photo mosaic?
Simply upload your main photo (the photo that you would like your smaller photos to turn into) and upload your smaller photos. You then choose your format and size options. Click Here to get started
What main photo should I choose?
Use a main photo that is not too detailed or ‘zoomed out’. Close up photos of people or pets work the best. Your main photo must be of reasonable image quality (at least 800 pixels wide and tall). Photos taken a modern phone should work fine, our editor will let you know if your main photo is not suitable.
Can I use photos from my phone?
Yes absolutely. You can also create your mosaic from your mobile phone, although using a laptop or computer may be easier.
How many photos are needed?
You only need one main photo and a minimum of 150 smaller photos, around a 400 or more is recommended. Although this is a lot of photos, the upload speed is surprisingly quick. Creating your mosaic should take around 3 minutes.
What format of image can I upload?
We support PNG, GIF and JPG (or JPEG) for photo uploads.
How fast will my order be dispatched?
All Photo Mosaics are highly custom. Prints are usually dispatched within 1-3 days. Frames are handmade to order so at busier periods these can take up to 3 days to dispatch.
How much is shipping?
Shipping varies from product to product and depends on your shipping address. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
How long does shipping take?
We are based in the UK. However, your photo mosaic can be made and shipped from the USA, Western Europe or UK. For the UK and USA, framed items are usually 2-4 days. For all other items, shipping takes 2-3 days. Where your photo mosaic is shipped from depends on which location is closest to your shipping address. This keeps your delivery cost low and is better for the environment.
How can I check the status of my order?
Orders can be tracked on your order status page, the link can be found in your confirmation email.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If your mosaic is not in production, we should be able to cancel, unfortunately if we have started to print your order there is little we can do.
How is my order packaged?
Framed prints will be delivered to you in rigid, double-wall corrugated cardboard boxes ensuring maximum protection. Prints are securely packaged in a cardboard tube.
What file format do we supply?
For digital items, your photo mosaic is supplied is a JPG format.
What if I am not happy with my photo mosaic?
In the unlikely event of any shipping damage, print or frame quality issues, we will either refund of replace your order. Since our mosaics are highly personalised we don't accept returns or refunds based on a 'change of heart' - rest assured, your mosaic will come exactly as it appears in the preview.
What happens to my data?
Your photos are securely uploaded to our server when you start to create your mosaic. When you have not visited our site in a 2 week period, your data is permanently deleted from our systems. If you would like this to happen sooner then please contact us.
